The easiest way to try to describe a Balinese appearance is describing it as a long-haired Siamese ... The Balinese have all the beauty and grace, which means Siamese but thus differs mainly in that it has longer fur. Another difference is that the balinese deemed to have a calmer temperament than Siamese, and that it is more understated.
Balinese included fur in terms of the semi-longhaired breeds, which means that the coat lies somewhere between the long-haired and short haired breeds. The lack of undercoat makes the hair on a Balinese is located close to the body and stresses the cat's sleek, muscular lines. It is also thanks to this non-existent undercoat that allows a Balinese sheds relatively little to be so fur. Perhaps the most eye-catching addition to the oblique, almond-shaped eyes are azure blue of the long tail, which, thanks to abundant fur plant forms a beautiful plume to wind up the otherwise slender body.
Since the coat has a silky structure need not much more than a daily brushing to remove any loose hair and to maintain its luster. But do not bathe them more than perhaps before an exhibition.
Balinese cat is a worm which means that the head, ears, paws and tail have a particular color while the body is much lighter but is still in the same tone. The kittens are born white but develops during the first weeks of life mesh colors. The most famous color of the mask is not probably brown, but there are also chokladmaskad, lilamaskad, Blåmaskad, rödmaskad, crémemaskad, blåcrémemaskad, lilacrémemaskad sköldpaddsmaskad and tabbymaskad. Examples of these colors, you can look at our other pages.
During the tätliggande coat conceals an elegant, long-legged, muscular cat with long slender lines, aristocratic head tapered profile, which will be proportionate to the body. The legs are long and the cat should make a högställt impression, paws are small and round. The ears are very large, low set, wide at the base and pointed to emphasize the long, triangular-shaped head in profile to show a slight convex curvature.
The reason for these long-haired Siamese arose is obscure, it has been speculated that there may have been a mutation, she was the short-haired Siamese, which resulted in the outcomes of long-haired siameskullarna. But it could also be that they arose by inparning of long-haired cats. It was known that siamesuppfödare in the early 1900s were long-haired, sometimes bleed into their hills, but these are usually sold as pet treasures and it was not until the 1950s that we in the United States became interested in these long-haired Siamese. The first farmer who began in earnest to take advantage of these long-haired cats were Mrs. Helen Smith, she discovered that if you mated two of these long-haired cats with each other so it was only long-haired offspring. There was also this lady who gave the breed its name Balinese, because they reminded her of the graceful movements and slender lines of the Balinese dancers. 1963 was approved breed Balinese cat in the American League CFA, to Sweden, the first Balinese 1981-82.
Originally considered Balinese with semi long hair at shows, but from January 1, 1992 form the Balinese, Siamese and Orientals category IV. This made the Balinese only could be assessed by judges with expertise in the oriental cats, which they hoped would provide more typed Balinese. The change met with some resistance among some balinesuppfödare, who were afraid that the Balinese would get too difficult to compete against the then more typed Siamese.
Is inherently Balinese lively, docile and sociable cat who certainly appreciates the company of rasfränder but who nevertheless prefer human company. It is more hundlik the way than other cat breeds which, among other things, expressed through their enormous needs of man. Need for Community and their attention, you can use to give them an outlet for his seemingly inexhaustible energy, for example by teaching them retrieve objects or do other things on command. Devoted itself not enough for his Balinese or if you do not allow them an outlet for their energy in a positive sense will find these lively cats, like other ways to do so.
It is also therefore an early Balinese must learn where the boundaries are and what is permitted or not at home. A Balinese have to, just like a dog, brought up from the day it moves into its new home in order to be able to get as much pleasure from your cat as possible - an obedient cat is known as a happy cat ...
